A day camp on the island for children provides lots of fun. Two tennis courts are available for a small fee for the entire family.  The beach is breathtaking and provides a long walking, running and swimming mecca.  A jetty at one end of the beach is great for fishing and walking.  At low tide, the rocks are filled with exciting treasures.  At the other end of the beach is a terrific river for floating or rafting.  At low tide, a shallow walk across the river leads to Parsons Beach. Laudholm Beach Trust is also a walk away.
